--one on the right: Meet Rayle. Rayle was born and lived in the UK all her life. She was also a Succubus. Unfortunately she wasn't all that good of a succubus; she was found out, imprisoned and died of lack of life-force to live off of.

However, in a weird twist of fate, a zombie apocalypse soon-after broke out. Rayle was later revived as a zombie succubus which, instead of craving brains or flesh to eat, she only sought to physically touch them. In fact, without the touch of another living being, Rayle dies... again.. and again.

--one on the left: Simply known as "boyfriend", Rayle found him during the zombie apocalypse and (forcefully) made him her companion. As it turns out, a zombie counts as a "living being" and allows Rale to live as long as she touches him- which is convenient since, as a zombie herself, Boyfriend doesn't crave her brain (and is quite manipulable). Boyfriend has no known identity- he was just an unlucky victim.

With nothing in particular left to do, Rayle simply seeks out a way to place a soul into the frame of her brain-chewing friend. She has to keep up constant maintenance on him too, since, as it turns out, rotting corpses deteriorate. This fact is a key factor in the sudden end to the zombie apocalypse after Raynes revival.
